Our Beginner/Puppy, Level 2, Level 3 and Canine Good Citizenship classes are scheduled based on demand.

Beginner/Puppy Class

Our Beginner and Puppy classes teach the same lessons, but we separate the puppies from the older dogs since they tend to need extra attention during the sessions. Both sets of classes start with the basic commands and then progress to teaching you how to have better control of your dog.

Level 2 Class

Our Level 2 class builds on our beginner and puppy sessions by teaching more advanced commands and control techniques. Additionally, hand signals are taught and practiced in order to control your dog from a distance.

 

Scent Class

Inspired by working detection dogs, K9 Nose Work is the fun search and scenting activity for virtually all dogs and people. This easy to learn activity builds confidence and focus in many dogs, and provides a safe way to keep dogs fit and healthy through mental and physical exercise.

Canine Good Citizen (CGC)

For dogs ready to go beyond the basics, Camp K-9 Paradise for Paws is proud to offer the American Kennel Club’s CGC Program. Taught by a certified trainer and behavioral specialist, the CGC program is designed to reward dogs who have good manners at home and in the community. You and your dog will learn the skills needed to pass the 10-step CGC test.

Boot Camp

Boot Camp is designed for dogs that need a more intensive behavior program. Your dog will stay with us for the duration of the boot camp, learning proper behavior from a trainer with assistance from a select group of helper dogs.

Admission to the boot camp program is at the discretion of the trainer. Your dog will be evaluated to determine eligibility for boot camp. Please call us so that we can schedule an evaluation appointment with one of our trainers.
